Hey grandmag, Sorry you didn't get a pin. You have to be on your 10th Carnival cruise to be a Platinum
Gguest. I'm not sure at this point if even the Platinum Guests are going to keep getting them yet.

I am sure they are trying to cut costs where they can. I doubt they'll cut the Lobster though.

The stage band will be getting smaller. Remember when they were 11 piece bands? 5 piece bands are being experimented with, 4 pecussi0n and 1 sax. Only ships with shows that have to have large bands will have them, Like the Big Easy requires a large band so the Glory still has a 9 piece.

I will be going on my 4th cruise in Jan 2010, my last two were on the Liberty & Destiny in 2008 & 2009 and we rec'ved a pin on both. We will be on the Victory in Jan and I hope to get my pin for that cruise. This will be the 2nd time on the Victory my first was also my first cruise in 2006.
