Any one going on this cruise? I am wondering who else will be traveling with us. Maybe some one would like to share a tour with us or just make friend over a drink.

Hello, my husband and I are also booked for this cruise. I am doing a lot of research for our trip and stumbled across this board. I would be happy to talk with you about the trip.

My boyfriend and I are also going on this cruise and are looking for people to share tours with and the trip to the port. We arrive on 9th to Rome and leave on the 24 to head to France.

Found this posting on another board....thought you'd like to know and perhaps hook up with this group. Note states: We are trying to get a group together on October 9th for tram ride, night tour of colusseum and dinner in the tram outside the Colusseum. The cost is 60 euros per person - we need 20 people and are up to 12 would love to have you join us. You can e-mail me at luckyduck2001@aol.com if you would like more info.

My husband and I are scheduled to leave our hotel (Hotel Romano) at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10th to go to the port. The hotel is near the Forum...are you anywhere near there? If our friends decide they can't come along, you are welcome to share our ride...we went through Roma Shuttle Service and the cost is 110E to the port. It would be great to split the cost.

I just returned from the Mediterranean Liberty
Cruise on 9/4. This was my first cruise. My
favorite shore excursion was "Beautiful Tuscany"
and heard others say it was also their favorite,
so thought I would pass this on to anyone taking
this cruise.
The ship is beautiful and crew were great.
My only negative comments are there are so many
passengers and on Captain's formal night there was no way you could get into the Victoria Lounge it was so crowded, and dressing formal seemed a waste unless opting for pictures taken.
I am a senior single and while the majority of
passengers were seniors, there were only a few
senior singles, which made on board activities
a little less fun, although the excursions were
very enjoyable.
Would appreciate any comments.
