Hi everyone, we are going on a cruise in about 6 weeks with carnival ( Freedom ), can anyone tell me if there are coffee and tea making facilities in the cabin. I know they have room service but i like 1 or 2 cups 1st thing in morning :-)
Hi meme4ya, welcome to Cruise-Chat. There is not a coffee maker in your cabin. If you don't wish to use room service, you can always go up to the buffet and bring it back to your room. We do that often, but use room service as well. Just fill out the paper, including the time, and the coffee will be there. Hope you have a marvelous cruise. Best wishes!
Meme4ya, we're excited for you, too! I'll let you in on a secret, once you've been bitten by the cruise bug, you don't get rid of it. I'll be on my 26th cruise in December and am just as excited, if not more, than my first cruise. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, we'll do our best to answer. We've got a lot of good information here. The port chat sections and the FAQ section are filled with good tips as well. I'm warning you ahead of time, cruising is addictive

meme4ya,
Welcome to cruise chat. You are just going to love cruising. Lots of coffee on board, I like to get up before my wife and bring back coffee for her, but room service will bring it to you. There are also coffee specialty shops for a fee that will make all the fancy coffee stuff. My family use the coffee shop and the NY Deli as meeting places. I haven't been on the Freedom but I think all the Carnival Ships have at least these two locations.
So ask us anything we can help make your 1st cruise extra special. My daughter is curretnly dancing on the Glory so I can answer lots of stuff about the production shows if you have a desire to hear about them
Thank you Penny and Cruisedad ... will have to talk my hubby into going to get me coffee 1st thing haha. But I am sure he will opt for the room service option.
