This year we are going to take a taxi to Breezes Resort in Montego Bay. For $60.00 you can have all you can eat, drink(alcohol INCLUDED) and you have full uses of all there pools, beach areas, and other ammenities. I am really excited.

Hi! Tammy I had heard you can get the same deal at Sunset Beach Resort for @ $20 per day - appreciate you following up for us and finding out that this is indeed fact!

Tammy - we have been told that Captain Marvin's Watersports (http://www.captainmarvins.com/) is the way to go in GC for the Stingray swim. We have been further advised that the morning trip is the best because the rays are hungry then...also it will leave you with a couple of hours for shopping before you reboard the Conquest.

I've heard that sometimes the ship doesn't dock when it is supposed to. Does anyone know what happens if you book an excurision on your own, and the ship doesn't make it to the island on time.

Captain Marvin's will cancel your reservation on their own if the ship doesn't dock. Atlantis Submarines says you must cancel on your own via email onboard etc. I'm sure each individual excursion operator has their own policy. Of course if you've booked through Carnival, they'll cancel and refund your money.

Thanks so much for the answer. I just didn't want to get stuck paying for something if I couldn't get there. I plan on making reservations at Captain Marvins for the swimming with the Stingrays. I'm going to Jamica on October 18th. Should I make the reservataions now? Anyone else going at that time?

I'm going in November and already made my reservations. Capt Marvin will not charge your credit card until the day of the excursion, but will hold you a spot with your cc as a guarantee. He prefers cash when you arrive but will charge your cc that day if that's what you decide. Book early.

That is REALLY good to hear - thanks for the info on CPT Marvin's (we have been told that this shore excursion is THE way to go for Stingray City & we plan on using them!)

Awww NUTS Susie! We are missing you by a week - we sail on the 9th

Of course, you MAY be happy about that - origionaly it was just my wife & I + our teenaged son & 9 YO daughter..it has now grown to Mom & dad, both brothers, brother's girlfriend, other brother's wife & 2 9 YO daughters, 2 aunts, 1 aunt & uncle, 2 nephews and 4 old flamily friends

Anyone have any experience with Eagle Ray Divers in Cozumel?? I t sounds like their diving trips are pretty awesome.

If Eagle Ray is NOT a good cooice - what do you more experienced folks recommend??
