I was wondering if any one has used the self service laundry on the carnival glory. Although I don't like to do laundry on holidays, it might be better for packing for four of us. I know if you have the ship do it it is quite expensive. So i'm thinking about packing for four days and doing laundry half way through the cruise myself. Too save alot of packing as we need to take a plane to Florida. Too save on clothes shopping befor holidays as well. My kids are forever growing, so I need to buy us all new stuff again.

I was on the Glory January 3-10 and used the self service laundry. Well, the dryer. The cost was either $2 or $3. Please make sure you have quaters, it only takes quarters.

you will have no problem on the glory, we just returned from a 7 night western carribean cruise yesterday. I did laundry on board, as I was traveling with 3 children. The machines were 2.00 for the washer machine and 2.00 to dry. They sell All laundry detergent for 1.oo and snuggle fabric softner for 1.00. Bring quarters as there is no coin machine inside the laundry area. You can get change from the pursers office.
Have a nice cruise!

Thank you for all the information. At least I know I most likely won't be the only one doing laundry, to save packing and airport luggage costs. Now if I can figure out how to pack so we all only have to bring our carry-ons. I guess i'll practise lots. Thank you!
