Cruise total points??

If we cruise with HAL or one of the other cruise lines in the Carnival family do we get credit toward our total # of cruises on Carnival? I really like Carnival but think I would like to try HAL..PLease advise.

Sorry, only Carnival cruises count. The good news is that any Carnival cruise counts (regardless of length)...even cruises to nowhere.

The other GOOD NEWS is that you will still get a Past Guest Discount on HAL. That is the only perk that is reciprated to sister cruise lines.

No. If you cruise with HAL you don't get a credit on your Carnival cruise list. I believe the program mostly gives you the opportunity to get "past passenger" pricing on any of the Carnival Corporation lines if you cruised with at least one of them. The Carnival program isn't as good as Royal Caribbean's, where after you reach a certain level on either RCI, Celebrity, or Azamara, you get equal recognition on the other lines.

I didn't think they were reciprocal, but thouht I would check. I like Carnival very much, but they are not going to do any Trans Atlantic cruises in 2010 according to my PCP.I wanted to try a repositioning cruise but I geuss I will have to try another line!
