We are going on our first cruise. It is the Inspiration out of Tampa. I am just kind of curious as to how much drink prices are on this ship.

Congrats on your first cruise!

On my last cruise in November, the "Drink of the Day" was $7.50 with the souvenir cup. The refills, or a regular cup is less, but I don't recall the price for certain. Most domestic 16oz beers were $5.75 ie Budweiser products, Coors Light and Miller Lite 4.95. They also have domestic beer 4 to a bucket and it is a little less. I think regular bar drinks were $4.95 if you didn't want anything from the middle or top shelf so to speak. They also add a 15% gratuity to the drink prices.

Zydecocruiser posted a link to the new updated Bar Menu in another thread. Here is a link.

The $7.50 is for the DOD in the colored Carnival cup. If you want the one in the cup like the Carnival Funnel, it is $13.50 - and the guys carrying them around on their trays only have the $7.50 sign in the tray. You find out the price when they have made it and give it to you ... not double the size either.

Wow! I didn't know the funnel bank drinks were $13.50! I would guess the coconut heads are the same then. I have one of the funnel banks, but my bartender gave it to me empty as a souvenir.

Daughter found out the had way on our 2/6 trip from New Orleans. She has all the different colored cups and wanted to get that one ... boy was she surprised when they gave her the ticket to sign.

The coconut and funnel shaped souvenier cups hold the same amount of booze as do the Carnival colored hurricane cups but are much more expensive. In fact, the coconut actually has a plastic 16 ounce cup inside. I usually buy one hurricane glass drink for the souvenier and ask for the refill on that. I also stick with the plain cups and the special price of the drink of the day.
