We are sailing on the Miracle on Sunday and I just received an email from Sarah (Assistant CD). Carnival will be having Halloween parties on all their ships starting with our sailing through October 31st. They are going to have Trick or Treating for kids 14 and under. PLUS they are going to have an adult costume contest...so go prepared!!!
Sarah sent me this because she knew we were sailing on Sunday and we have a special needs child that has panic attacks around "mascots" or people dressed up in costumes. We deal with Funship Freddie by getting the Asst CD or CD (whichever one we know) to email us Freddie's schedule on the ship we will be on and that way we can avoid him.
Anyway, when Sarah got the official word that our cruise was going to be included..she immediately let me know so that we could make plans to avoid the Atrium Bar (which is where most of the action will be from 7:30 - 10:00).
The staff will be milling around the Atrium Bar during that time evaluating the adult costumes for the "contest" that will take place at 10:00pm in the main lounge.
