which night is formal

Going on a 3 day cruise on the Fascination. I was told that the formal night would be the 2nd night on board, our 2nd night we will be in port (Bahamas) arrive in the morning and depart 5:30 am following morn., could this be right? You would think it would be on the last night. If anyone has done this cruise could you pls let me know. Not sure if we were planning on being on the ship for dinner...could mean less packing.

We had ours the 2nd day because it was the first full day at sea. I know that you can call carnival. They have always been so helpful to me. 1-800-carnival. Or is it 1-888-carnival. Either one and they can give you that and any other questions. Have a wonderful time with or without the formal night.

I did this cruise last year, after Hurricane Wilma (I was a refugee
from the Imagination, could not connect with the ship because of
chaos at the airport).

We had our formal night when we were docked for the full day in Nassau
- they can't have it on the last night because everyone will be packing up
and putting their bags away.
