I am booked on cat 7a connecting rooms on Spirit 5166 & 5168 and was told by my TA that Carnival says if you "look down you will see the top of the life boat" but after seeing some pictures posted I see that you see more than that. While I am happy because of the reduced price to be able to get the balcony I am still worried that the view is not what they tell you and my view may be greatly obstructed. Anyone have any information?

According to Carnival's website information these rooms are called obstructed because you may see the davits (part where life boats hang)or the top of the lifeboat. They don't obstruct your view looking out at the ocean because the tops of the life boats do not come higher than your balcony railing.
