Loss of Smoke Free Paradise

It is a shame that Carnival is going this route. I understand it is a revenue issue, but that was a great boat, and a great crew, and I enjoyed not having to breathe all the smoke.

We went on the Paradise only once, and I would go back if they took it on different routes. But, of course, they don't.

I am going to have to write to Carnival on this one.

Do you mean they are doing away with the smoke free ship? I have sailed on that ship twice and love the non-smoking ship! I would hate it if they did away with it.

Hi,

yes - Carnival will discontinue the non-smoking policy on the "Paradise" once the ship replaces the "Ecstasy" operating short cruises out of Los Angeles later this year. The "Paradise" never produced as much onboard revenue as the other ships in the Carnival fleet. It's a shame!

I totaly agree, we went on the paradise last year and the best feature of all was the non -smoking. The ship was beautiful, but it was so nice to go in the casino and be able to breathe. I would definately go on it again. What a shame.

maybe carnival cruise lines will be a little nicer to us smokers

Hi everybody,

the next-best smoking policy (for non-smokers that is) should be Oceania Cruises'. Smoking is only allowed in a tiny area of one of the lounges as well as in a small section of the pool deck. The rest of the ships is a non-smoking environment.
