Roll Call: Sensation 9/24

I am sure lots of folks are going on the Sensation 9/24, but no one has started a roll call, so here I am. Since school will be in session in all areas by then, this should be a cruise without too many children. We are four mothers going on this cruise--no husband and kids, at least for three of us. M-I-L is 88, so her two daughters and I, the D-I-L, are taking her on a 5 day cruise to Costa Maya and Cozumel. Hurrah, no grandkids, either. I have been to Cozumel 4 times, and Costa Maya once. Have no plans, just doing as we please, whatever feels good at the time. Let me know if you are joining us on this cruise.

We are sailing on the Sensation in Jan 2006. Give us your full report. If you haven't been to New Orleans, you will love it. You can also see live photos of the Sensation in port on nola.com Go to live cams. Then click on the bridge cam. Best time to see it is on Mondays, Thursdays, and saturdays depending on the itenerary. Don't mistake her for the Conquest which can be viewed on Sundays. If you click on the river cam, you can watch her sail down the river after she leaves the dock. Kind of cool. Good luck and give us your feedback.

Thanks, cruiser 1962. I live about 30 miles upriver from the dock in La Place, LA. I have sailed out of N.O. 4 times and look forward to another fantastic cruise from this port. I will try to take notes and report back to those cruisers waiting to sail.
