Cruise in May from NY

four of us are traveling from south shore of Boston to NY pier for a Carnival Cruise the end of May. Trying to find out if there's a bus, if there's parking, if there's car rental nearby (might be cheaper to rent for two days, there and back, then to pay for parking), and where the pier is. thanks for any help.

Parking might be very expensive. I lived in NYC. The cheapest way is probably taking a bus from Boston to Port Authority or a train from Boston to Penn Station. Those places are about a 20 minute train ride to the NYC Port. Cabs can you from port Authority Bus terminal in under 15 mins.

parking in nyc, the terminal does have a secured parking area rates are 10.00 a day

Actually if park at the NYC cruise terminal it is $25 a day.

we were told by AAA that parking in the terminal lot in NYC would be $25/day.

I think we are supposed to just get a monthly rate, which I have heard is 180.00. Cheaper this way...
