Carnival Spirit to Hawaii

Just wanted everyone to know I've just booked a cruise on Carnival Spirit for April 20, 2008 to Hawaii for my husband and me for our 39th wedding anniversary. This will be our 4th cruise, 2nd on Carnival. It leaves from Ensenada, Mexico. Any tips or thoughts on things to do at the Hawaiian ports?

Only 197 days left and it's been too long since last cruise.

I wish I was going, the spirit class ships are our favorite Carnival ships.Easy to get around and small enough to get really good service.And they are a little more narrow than the large ones and draw a little more water so they ride quite well. Enjoy your cruise. Tom

Hi yankeeso, congratulations on your upcoming cruise and anniversary! What a wonderful way to celebrate. On Oahu, Pearl Harbor and the Arizona museum, plus the punch bowl are great. Hanauma Bay is beautiful and a great place to snorkel. If you can still get around the point to the toilet bowl, that is a lot of fun as well. The north side of the island is beautiful and much less traveled. It's easy to get around Oahu, so you might want to consider renting a car and touring on your own. Maui is just down right picturesque. I truly enjoyed the helicopter tour on that island. On the big island we did a tour from Kona to Hilo and across the middle to tour the volcano, it was a great tour, but long. I'm not sure how long you have there. Once, again, congratulations!
