Now that my cruise is transferred from the Elation to Conquest on 9-18-05 to Western Carribbean, I'm confused about where to go. Which terminal or whatever, (can you tell this is my first??) nervous!!! Please advise.

Thanks~

Heres a link to the port of Galveston terminal.

Also, i dont know if you are flying in or not, but Galveston Limousine Service has rates cheaper than Carnival does for transfers. Heres their link:

The main thing is DONT WORRY. Once you get on the Lido deck with a fruity drink in your hand, all will be well.

Logistics Question....

If Carnival is porting 2 ships in Galveston for the evacuees, and (so I am told) there are only 2 ports for Cruise liners, where will the Conquest's port be?

I have a month for Carnival to shake out the bugs...I really feel for the folks sailing on 11 Sep...hope all goes well for ya'll!!

You will be happy to know FEMA is refurbing 2 Galveston berths for the refugee ships. Carnival will continue to use it's terminal.

However, item of note; the people at the Astrodome were refusing to get on buses to go to the ships this morning. They feel at the Astrodome they have a better chance of finding family, locating permanent residence, and finding a job.

Once again the common man is smarter than government.
