We were on the Carnival Triumph sailing from Charleston and I carried 6 bottles with me and nobody even blinked an eye at it. They did not have wine glasses in the cabin, but our cabin stewardess did get us glasses on the second night out. Keep in mind if you take your wine to the dining room you will be charged a corkage fee of around $10.00 for the wine steward to open your bottle, even if you bring it to the dining room already opened you will be charged. So take the wine and enjoy it in your cabin. You can also purchase a glass of wine at one of the bars, this way you will have a glass to carry around with you or to carry to the dining room.
