SIGN & SAIL CARDS

My question is how to sort out the cards when you will be switching who is in what room. We were lucky enough to book 4 cabins on a PP rate for 9 traveling together, needless to say the main room listed person in 2 of those cases won't be in with the other people in that room or vice versa. How do we go about getting the correct room key/deposit to the person using the cabins. I'm sure there are others out there that have had this situation.

I was on a carnival cruise in Jan and had the same situation. We were all able to set up individual accounts. So in one room there were 4 sign and sail cards with seperate accounts each on our own credit cards. It was fairly simple. We were even able to seperate the gratuity.

The cards will be tide to a credit card number (or to a persons cash deposit) not to a room number, - for use as the sign and sail card. The purser should be able to re-assign the card to a cabin door for use as a key.

When you fill out your boarding passes, there will be a page that asks for the credit card info per guest, as long as that gets filled out, I don't think that should be a problem. If you plan on changing which cabin each of your nine people are assigned to, then you may have to do that at boarding time.

we just had the same thing in april we just swithed our room keys but we were on the escasty and they had the old room keys plus the sail and sign card so we had to hold on to 2 items we switched cabins and room keys left the c/c on the rooms and just figured out the bill at the end of the cruise Fran

We had a similar situation when travelling with our two daughters on Carnival Victory. We had to book one adult in each cabin (carnival policy), even though we planned to have the girls in one cabin and wife and I in another, so after we got on board we went to the Pursers desk and they re-arranged the sail and sign/room key cards for us on the spot, no complaints. The girls had keys/cards for their room only and we had cards/keys for each room.

Does Fantasy use key and sign and sail because we have booked 3 rooms . Should I make sure the sign and sail gets to the right person. confusing
