Can anyone tell me about the rooms on board the Glory? Are they nice?

Rhonda66 - I just came back from a cruise on the Glory on September 29th - Eastern Caribbean. This is the second time I have been on the Glory. The rooms are standard size rooms...I think 195 sq ft for inside cabin and 220 sq ft for Ocean View Room. The Standard Balcony is smaller than Ocean View Rooms because they take from the room for the balcony. The room decor is Standard Carnival.
This past time we stayed in a Cat. 6E stateroom on the Spa deck with floor to ceiling windows. This was the most fantastic room we have booked yet. It was open, airy and the view was great.
Hope this helps!

6E would be a great location for getting a steam or sauna. I personally don't like the location as being convenient. But would like to see those windows

You are right about it not being the most convenient....but it is close to the Amber Palace and Entrance of Ship. Location was quiet and since my husband spends ALOT of time in the gym, sauna, steam room, etc, we were in an ideal location. I have included a link to show what the windows in the Cat 6E room look like.

Rohnda66...you won't be sorry. The way we got upgraded was we paid for a window room about a year in advance and got upgraded. We loved the view. The room is the largest room you can have without going to a bonafide suite (I think ) You will enjoy it if you get it. We left the shades up at night and enjoyed just staring at the stars....and when you wake up, you are seeing the ocean or islands. Of course, when we pulled up next to another ship....blinds had to go down. I didn't want those having breakfast on the other ship to see me in my pajamas having coffee

We had this cabin on the Conquest. The room costs slight more than the standard ocean view but not as much as a balcony I think. They are on the Spa Deck (deck 11). The nicest thing about these (aside from the view) is that they are basically balcony sized rooms but the balcony is enclosed. You can see the table and chairs by the window. This was great when you ordered room service you had a table to eat on. If you don't have to have the balcony, this is a great alternative. And the location near the spa was great. You could use the spa's showers and changing rooms because they were directly across the hall.
