We have sailed on the Spirit a couple of times. We have been one deck up. We have talked to people who have had the room just above yours 8237. I thought maybe it would have alot of noise from the elevators but they said not. They also enjoyed the longer balcony.

Hope this helps a little.

BTW Welcome to Cruise Chat

The 9As are what most lines would describe as a mini or junior suite. They're approx 250 sf and a have an oversized balcony on your cabin. A very good choice.
