Well, you are going to know soon enough! It is The Large Fin looking thing on the top of the ship---Red, Blue, whatever--it is an imposing figure on the Lido deck. I loved the Elation, but the Funnel is indeed LARGE!! Sharpy

Okay, Raoul, are yout trying to give me post traumatic stress syndrome? Bad enough that my head is spinning and I am rocking and swaying from the motion of the boat- two days after I left.

What can I do to banish this motion sickness- or whatever it is? BTW- there was no motion on the boat. One day it was a little bit rough- the rest of the time you were barely conscious of being afloat.

My first cruise in 1995 was on Carnival. The first picture I took was of the funnel. What is the fascination with it?

I have been on 4 cruises, my 5th is planned for Feb. 4, 2006 on the Liberty. I have always sailed with CCL, never a disappointment. Until reading these posts, I never thought much about the funnel, but it's true, it's the first thing I see and I get as excited as a kid on Christmas morning!!! Thanks for making me smile and get excited for Feburary to hurry and get here!

A while back there was a discussion about that very same malady that effects some people after a cruise. Here is the link to the thread, you may find it interesting:

Thank you! That sums it up perfectly. I will have to see what today is like and I will try those excercises. No nausea, just feeling like I am at sea in a really tiny boat.
