Carnival Questions From a Newbie

Hi There,

I'm going out on Carnival's Triumph this month and I have a couple of questions if anyone can help.

I'm booked in a category 11 suite. I tried for cat. 12 but they were all sold. Is the cat. 11 suite a good size? There are just two of us in the room, but I want to make sure we don't feel too confined.
Also, I heard that if someone in a cat. 12 suite is a no-show, Carnival will upgrade passengers from cat. 11. Is that true, and how do I make it known that I'd like to be considered for the upgrade?

My last question is about room service. The Carnival Website doesn't publish the menu and other sites talk about a "limited room service menu with sandwiches and salads." Of course I wasn't expecting Lobster and Steak, but is the menu really that limited?

We also are cruising on the Triumph but, we sail sept 9. Carnival sometimes upgrades but cat 12 does not have many rooms therefore that upgrade does not happen to often.
The room service menu is very limited to sandwiches & salads. except you could get breakfast & coffee before leaving the room.This cruise will be our 5th. where in fl are you from? were from Cape Coral. When are you cruising? Cat 11 is very spacious. Plenty of room for 2.
