We're not going until August 5th. I was glad to hear you liked it last year. We are so excited about going - let me know how your excursions work out - both of them are excursions we have been looking at.

I sailed on the Triumph to the Western Caribbean in January of this year. We had a wonderful time.

In Cozumel, we did a snorkel and snuba tour, but not with the cruise line. We booked with Mayan Paradise Tours (www.mayanparadisetours.com) and I would highly recommend them. There were not many people on the tour, and we got to work at our own pace. They guides were very patient and very friendly.

In Cayman we booked Stingray City with the cruise line. It was a great tour, and we got back to the downtown area with plenty of time for shopping.

In Ocho Rios we booked a tour with Phil LaFayette...he was WONDERFUL!!!! I would strongly recommend him. He has so much passion and knowledge for his country. He also knew all the words to the Canadian National Anthem and who was our newly elected Prime Minister (just two days after the election).

The ship itself is great. You will have a wonderful time. Be sure to eat lots of the cheese danishes at breakfast time because they are absolutely HEAVENLY!!!!!!! The best I've ever tasted.

Just got back yesterday from the Triumph. Had a great time. Yes, my 78+79 year old parents climbed the falls. They had a great time.

In Coz. my wife daughter and I rented a jeep and went to the other side of the island. Far fewer people and we had a great time playing in the waves and drinking beers on empty beaches. My brother and his kids did the snuba tour through the ship. He said it was awesome.

In Grand Cayman we did the stingray city tour with Moby Dick tours. Had a great time.

I mentioned that we went to Dunns River Falls in Ocho Rios. We booked the Cool Runnings boat tour through the ship. Lots of rum punch on the way back It was a hell of a party!

We were on the Triumph 3/18 - 3/25 and thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. Agree with other comments, that the Triumph is not the easiest ship to become familiar with, but on the positive side, the ship never felt crowded. Highly recommend the Dunn River Falls excursion, and the Cayman Island sting ray experiences. Only a few completed the climb up the falls, the others opted to walk up the pathway. Enjoyed this trip so much we've booked the same trip for 9/02/06. Embarkation and disembarkation went very quickly.
