I was on RCCL's Majesty in January and we all had to go to the area by the elevators and root through the pile of luggage to get our own stuff. It did not make a good impression for my first RCCL cruise.
Larry, What was the reasoning for that? Were your luggage tags torn off and this was where all lost luggage was compiled for claim? My recent cruise on the Grandeur the luggage was delivered to my cabin within hours of embarkation.

Uh, sir, I need to see your Sail & Sign before you get in the lifeboat....
Wow these are great, my daughter will bust her side laughing when I give her some of this. I especilly like the Old Milwakee and chex mix and the life boat fee.
Picking up your luggage at the elevator seems a bit extreme. I certainly hope that doesn't happen on my ship, I know who will be doing all the carrying. Ever see Mr Hobbs takes a vacation? That will be me.
Bag lunches aboard the lifeboats will constitute "specialty dining" for a slight additional fee!
Guests will be weighed upon entering all dining areas, and then weighed again while leaving. A small food supplement charge will be assessed based on the current market price of lobster at the time of booking.
* Note: We are just having some fun in this thread. Some info is not to be taken seriously.

Hi Tom the towel boy, welcome to Cruise-Chat. We're just having fun here, but Gary has a great idea for alternative energy!
Perhaps we could have ship credit of a nickle for each Kilowatt hr we generate.
