You don't suppose that they will install hot water meters on the showers and charge us 25 cents for three minutes of hot water-like they do in some campgrounds-Do You?

I guess if they don't cut some costs, we just won't be cruising....and that would be a sad thing....Spend money, go cruising...

I see Chrysler just saved $20,000 by taking out the clocks. How about a cruise with no clocks. I could do it, just don't come back late from a tour.

That is brilliant. Take the clocks out of the corporate buildings. I guess Chrysler needs to start having a 5 minute grace period before starting meetings to allow for variances on personal wristwatches. I wonder if they considered the labor costs wasted when people are all on the same "clock"?

How about if Carnival started using those metal trays like we had in high school - the ones with the compartments? No need for dishes anymore, just be careful you don't spill gravy on your salad.

Actually the cruise lines could reduce waste by having servers for the buffet. When people help themselves they usually take more than they will eat. Servers would also make things a bit safer from a sanitary view.

Yea i remember those plate in the Marines Bootcamp. We had nice servers to fill the plate. We did not leave anything on the plate.

Some how I fell my DI would not have let the Chinese Lady throw here fit!!!

I still remember my first meal at Parris Island. Two boiled hot dogs with no rolls, a ladle of beans, and a cup of bug juice. And all along the line the servers taunted us.
