We got "upgraded" to room that does have 2 port holes but is on the very bow of the boat. I have heard people say these rooms are very rocky etc? What is your opinion on these?

Can get bouncy on 70,000 tons or less with ruff seas. If smooth seas no problem. Have had it both ways, but like the portholes for same price as inside.
It can get rocky and you will feel it more being in these cabins. We could have taken the same upgrade but chose to stay inside mid ship on a higher deck. We like being mid ship because you are closer to everything and there is not as much walking. Also we are never in our cabin anyway.
The "crash and splash cabin"? It would put me to sleep. I think it sounds like your house being hit by a truck and then followed by five fat guys doing cannon-balls in the pool.
I'm just kidding, I don't know what it's like, (well except for the fat guys in the pool.)
