My girlfriends and I are considering going on the Holiday sometime this sping for a "Girls Only Vacation" My husbad and I sailed on the Holiday with friends in May 05 before Katrina Hit the Gulf Cost and we had a very good experience. I heard that the Holiday was used to "house" Katrina victims for a while and was in bad shape after, but that Carnival had remodeled the ship and that she is now in better shape than before. Is there any truth to this? Can you tell me what kind of shape she is in and what kind of service you received if you have sailed on her since Katrina. (I see you have a cruise booked on her soon) My girlfriends and I are considering the Holiday because the first time we sailed on her we had such a BLAST and the service was the best ever!! My husband and I have sailed on other Carnival ships and had a good time, but the service didn't compare to our time on the Holiday. Any suggestions or news you can give would be great.
