Opinion Legend 8 day southern Carribean

I would like to get some opinion's on this cruise. We are not Carnival fan's,but I have read some very good review's in magazine's, as well as the Cruise review board. The only negative's I have read are concerning the tipping over incident, and some say that it was not as bad as some would lead us to believe.Hopefuly it was a one time thing.Please advise. Can someone tell me about the tipping over of the Carnival Legend. Or which ever Carnival ship it was that tipped over, I seemed to have missed the post. Thank you

Go to Cruise Reviews, click on Carnival then click on to The Legend. read some of the reviews and you will see what I mean. Some say it was not bad at all other's say that it was a nightmare. Make up your own mind I geuss. Tom

Judging from the response no one has sailed on the Legend.I have read some reviews that are very good, and I can get a very good price for an 8 day, so I geuss we will give it a try.Tom

I has been almost two years ago now, but I sailed on the Legend. It was an 8 day ride to Barbados, Martinique, St. Marteen. It was a very good cruise and one of my favorites. My only negative comments would be that the ship was a little smokey. I would have liked to see the smoking scetions contained a little better. Also, the food could have been a tab better. If I could talk my wife into it I would like to do that cruise again. I have no concerns about any problems with the ship. We had a nice stable ride. Enjoy your trip.
