If you book a guarantee inside room, will they make sure that you are in a room large enough to accomodate everyone. We are planning to have 4 people on the cruise, and wanted to know if they would stick us in a room with only 2 twin beds. We are trying to go as cheap as possible, so we would rather do a guarantee room but want to have somewhere for everyone to sleep. thanks.

If there are 4 people on the reservation in the same room, they will have to give you a room with 4 berths - it could be 2 twin beds, and 1 or 2 fold away upper berths and a convertible sofa, so the maximum you can have in a room is 5.

Carnival will have to provide you a room that meets your needs, and if necessary will bump someone out of a room if there is a party of 2 in a quad cabin.

A guarantee means you will get at least that category of cabin. They can and sometimes do upgrade you to a higher level cabin

I have done this before. The room was for as many people as we specified. It was in an awful location, r49 on the fantasy (right beside the elevator), but boy was it cheap!

klo289 Welcome to Cruise-Chat!

On ships the accomodations are called Cabins.

They will have one Berth or Bed for everyone booked in that cabin. If is an inside cabin it is most likley to have 2 "lowers" twin beds on the floor and 2 "uppers" pull down beds from the walls. It is a cheap way to cruise with the 3rd and 4th guest rates, but will be crowded in the cabin.
