No Refund??

I read somewhere that whatever money you put on your Sign & Sail card...if you don't use it, you loose it?? Is this true?

On my last Cruise (Inspiration) the remainder of the balance came the last night of the cruise in check form drawn on a US bank.

Any cash you give them for your Sail & Sign will be refunded if it is not used. Well in the form of a check...
