It is like the Dog Days of Summer, around here. Where is the creativity, that Carnival atmosphere, big smiles, giddiness, doc dances etc.? Come on people!

Ken, I love summer and I'm as giddy as a little girl.
My husband and I talked last evening about where our family is cruising to next. That is always an exciting conversation. We just have to plan it around one middle school break and one college break. Good luck, right?

A Spring break cruise, A'ndrea? Early March is better than late. What is nice about March is by that time, you have had enough of winter and you long for the intense Caribbean sun to thaw you out. Then when you come back you have only a few miserable days left and Summer goes into full swing.

I think we all need to plan a group cruise to break the "blues"!!!

Some good news...we booked our Fantasy cruise for August. A day after the final payment, PVP emailed me that we would have a $120.00 OBC because the final pricing had gone down.

Just checked and the prices are higher than we paid for our OV on Main (by about $100.00 a person).

I am still trying to figure out how we got OBC for a cruise where the price went UP!!

Now if that doesn't make you smile...nothing will!!

I can't do a doc dance yet, haven't received my documents. I did, however, start thinking about next year's cruise. Found a great itinerary on the Royal Princess, 14 days covering both Christmas and New Years. I'm still debating. I can book 2 ten days cruises for about $600 less. I just don't know. I'd like to try one of their small ships, have done Christmas on board but never New Years. It's a lot of money, but it would be so much fun. It visits 3 islands I've never been to. It's a toughy!

I'm living vicariously through my sister. She called late last week and I helped her book an April cruise on the Liberty of the Seas. She was/is so excited. It was fun...
