owning carnival stock

I read somewhere (or I think I did anyway) that if you own stock in Carnival you can get special perks. Does anyone know anything about that? I might buy me a bit if the perks are worth it.

You get onboard credit, $50 to $250 depending on the length of a cruise. $100 for a 7 night cruise. The thing is you need to have at least 100 shares, which at this morning's price means you'll need to invest $4300.

You can get the OBC every time you take a cruise, but you have to apply for it. Here is the link.

Royal Caribbean has the same policy.
