New Terminal in Miami?

Hi

First time cruiser here... looking for as much information, as possible. Came across someone saying that they were in Miami last August... waited 2.5 hours in the heat... and wishing the new terminal was open.
Is there a new terminal in Miami now? How is the wait time to board? Is there a "best time" to be at port to get onboard?
Sorry for all the questions....

new port terminal is open and your wait time will not be long

I sailed in late November. I got there around 11:30, they did not open the doors to the terminal until Noon. There were maybe 100 or so ahead of me at that time and the line behind me got long pretty quick.

There was very little AC (if any) in the terminal, it took me about an hour to get on the ship.
