Hey Jennifer,

I like the Mid-Ship Inside Cabins that are near the elevators. Empress Deck if you can get one.

For a Fantasy Class Ship the Empress deck...look at my personal cabin...lol ..I get the same one (or try to) each cruise. its in the best spot. just under the resturant and one more floor up and your in the Karaoke bar. the Cabin is the first one by the stairway and elevator. there is a closet on one side and a wire room on the other...no one can hear me snoring the Cabin # is E181 look it up on the deck plan. and if you get to use it look for some hyroglyphic's (sp) under the desk top.

actually Ive stayed in E181 3 times there are a few right there that are almost just as good I have stayed in E183 as well. My next trip in January E181 was booked so I took E185. actually any of them are great upper lower cabins. Great location. no long walk. I satyed in M1 once and holy cow the walk damn near killed me. it was the first cabin on M at the Bow. never again. keep me close to Karaoke and the Stairs.my 2003 trip frist cruise
just my 3 cents

I mentioned earlier that we were upgraded to deck 6, but we were at the end of the ship. I was still very pleased as it was "good walking" for me to the middle of the ship. Instead of exercising and taking the elevator on the ship, I walked and did stairs all the time. I felt wonderful.

I will have to remember that cabin number. On our last cruise (Miracle), we were AFT and karaoke was in the Mad Hatter Lounge (under the Main theater FORWARD). Talk about exercise !!!

Work on Kenny Roger's Islands In The Stream so we can duet one of these days!! (I love singing the harmony on that song!!!)

LHP, I love that song. Use to be on the radio when I was delivering papers way back in the winter of 1982 I think!

I think the best inside cabins on Triumph would be close to the Atrium on Main or Upper Deck. As for convenience and walk-ability.

On the Triumph, i would recommend Upper Deck, mid ship - just aft of the casino. Either port or starboard gives easy access to the promenade level at the casino, or at the rear toward the lounges. We had 6385 and the location was perfect.

If you are on Triumph and request Main Deck, I would suggest not being much forward of 6385. Although it could have been a temporary maintenance problem, there was a bad stench in the hallway about 6 cabins forward of ours, that continued about 6 more cabins forward. The cabin steward said it had been like that for a while and they were aware of it.
