I have heard that is possible, at least on some ships, to request the steward to remove the dividers between balconies of parties traveling together. Any one know anything about this?
We have three cabins together on the Pride on Sept 02 and we would love to share all that space and be together.
And maybe knock on each others doors without going out the door into the hall since our cabins are so close to elevators and atrium and we might want to have coffee together, etc., in our nighties... lol
Brenda, yes. As soon as your room steward introduces himself, he will ask you (at least he should) if you have any special requests. Tell him at that point to remove the balcony dividers. He should do it immediately for you.
Many cruisers on Pride had their balcony doors removed so that they could easily travel between cabins without using the interior hallway.

Yes, they will take down the dividers. Since they are in "meet and greet mode" they may not be able to do it immediately. But they will get it done for you promptly
Yes it can take sometime to get them open but you can. We decided to try and grease the palm of our cabin steward on our next cruise to see if they can be opened sooner. It's worth a try.
That's really neat that the dividers can be removed. On the next group cruise my husband and I go on with friends, we'll have to be sure our T/A gets us rooms right next door so we can extend the party deck!
