My husband and I just returned from a cruise with Carnival Destiny. The ports included St. Thomas, Dominica,Barbados,St Lucia, and Antigua. It was beautiful. the crew was very nice and pleasant. Our favorite ports from best to second best were Atigua and St. Lucia. The shopping in St.Lucia was a pleasureable experience. It was a clean and very well mapped out area. The Island was very very pretty. But our hightlight was Antigua, the shopping was okay it was your typical Island shopping(crowded and crazy allot of t-shirts to choose from. What made it for us was the excursion with the Excellence title of the excursion was Antigua by the sea. If you are going to this port, you must experience this excursion. The crew was allot of fun and at the same time very responsible for the guests. It's a 61/2 hr trip to a secluded Island called Green Island with a lunch included, snorkeling and one of the most beautiful small islands. The crew will show you all the most incredible sights across the oean, some of the most incredible homes owned by some famous people like Oprah, Eric Clapton, Macy's, ect. soooo breath taking!! It was worth the 99.00 the sea was a memory that will inpire me to be able to vacation again and again... This was a 5* excursion for those of us that experienced it!!
