Just a small word of caution - I just roomed with someone I "sorta" knew - and MADE SURE we had separate accounts, thank goodness. I put down my credit card. She put down a cash deposit. Caution - if you don't know your cabinmate REALLY REALLY well - do NOT put up your credit card for your purchases, put up a cash deposit - needless to say, my roommate got drunk and made $183 worth of long distance phone calls (at $6.95 a minute) - they were charged to my account (my credit card) until I realized it! I had to have them moved to her account - and she was well over her cash deposit limit at that point. She literally had NO money, they turnd off her Sign and Sail card so she couldn't use it anymore and they left her two written warnings to come settle her account with them before we got off the ship. Needless to say, she ended-up borrowing money from me. Never again will I sail without a family member or close friend in the cabin with me!!! Lesson learned.
