First time cruising with multigeneration- My 3 kids ages 2, 4, 7 and grandparents. (that's 'nough for a headache right there!!) Should I book excursions now, particularily the dophin swim or play or just wait and see what is available either on board or privately? Any suggestions on what is good for slow moving grandparents and high energy kids ( 7 and 4 year old) We are on the Dec 17th sailing to Mexian Riveria.

Well, bless your heart. The swim with the dolphins might be the ticket. The kids can swim and the grandparents can take pictures (a lot less expensive than the photographers). We did a swim with the dolphins in Cozumel and it was awesome. Dolphins are amazing mammals, it is something I will never forget. As for booking now or waiting... If there is something you really, really want to do and would be upset if you couldn't do it, book now. Otherwise, you might want to play it by ear. There are activities on board as well, for both young and old. The grandparents may not want to go into the ports, they may choose to stay on board and enjoy the ship. Best of luck and have a wonderful cruise!!

I am also going on the Pride in November so I will let everyone know how it was. I will be with my teenage daughter for her 15th birthday and she really wants to swim with the dolphins also so I think that soon I will look into that particular excursion and If I find any on my own I will let you know also. I am sure we will all have a great time on this cruise.
Can't wait for the time to get here.

If you are going to Cozumel the Atlantis Submarine ride is GREAT! I called them directly and made my reservation. Depending on where the ship docks it will be a 5 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. You gradually go down 125 feet along the reef and you will see all sorts of fish.
