we are going with carnival destiny is here any body who can tell me about the cabins also can you coonect balcony's for a couple of cabins so we can have a big balcony. is here anybody who know something about rooms categorie 9

Cabins on the Destiny are good, as far as Cruise ship cabins go. Lido deck is where i stayed and a balcony is neat, you can prop the door open at night and be able to breath real air instead of the A/C air that makes your nose and throat so dry.

Theres a good size closet and the bed, well its not like your own, but its okay. You'll enjoy your room.......

When are you slated to go on your cruise?
We are going again on January 22/06

I am not sure if passengers are allowed to put balconies together but they started cleaning the balcony deck and unlocked all the connecters and made one long deck when we were on Glory in March.(when we were disembarking) There wasn't really anywhere for those connectors to go though except up against the doors that open onto the balcony so my guess is they will not let you do that. Just a guess though.

yes you can request to open up between balconies we had two cabins next to one another and had the divider open you have to go to pursers office and request and it has to be by mutual agreement between the the 2 cabin passengers we were family in our two cabins

That's awesome. Do you know if you can do that on all ships or just Carnival's? We are going to be on Mariner of the Seas and have three balcony rooms in a row booked beside each other?

as long as the cabins balcony has the hinges to open they can be opened some ships have permenent dividers you really won't know till you are on board and check.

we were on the empress deck legend we always try to book balcony also if you book the 9A your balconey is 3 times the size, happy cruz'n

we booked by a company they tooled us they can't make a reservation for that cabin
did you ever make a trip where you yoused a 11 cabin
