Am I right in assuming that there is no "regular" TV in the staterooms? Is it only movies?

Edit: Signature repaired. RF

There is a TV in the cabin, you will either watch a movie the news or video tape of activities which took place on the ship the previous day(s). Carnival hopes you will see yourself in the video and purchase it. Enjoy your cruise!!!!!

You will be able to watch the major networks ABC NBC etc... I think CNN is in there too.

You will be able to watch whatever channels the satelite is picking up. I recently was on the Fascination and we were picking up channels from Denver. Other cruises I have been on we picked up channels out of Nashville. The sports bar should be picking up channels too.

I'm sure we watched tv during the afternoon after swimming. if you fall asleep during a movie don't worry. They repeat there movies and you can catch the rest later.

I checked my notes on the cruise we took on the Legend last year---No CNN or any other station that would cover world news. I don't remember finding much of interest to watch on the television besides movies.
