panama canal & costa rica vs. st. lucia & st. kitts

i am starting to plan my next cruise and i am torn between the panama canal & costa rica or st kitts & st lucia sailing of the miracle in january of 08. does anyone have any advice or reccomendations for me? i have been on the legend so i assume that the miracle will be quite similar. but both itineraries sound great. please help me!!!!

Have not been to St. Kitts or St. Lucia; they look lovely and I must do them sometime.
But if you have not been through the canal or seen Costa Rica, I would definitely do that first. The canal is an engineering marvel that has to be seen to be believed. And Costa Rica is simply too lovely for words. I would do it again before I did the other. In fact I am doing it again.

We are doing the St. kitts St. lucia cruise on the legend in March. I will let you know how it was. We really like the Legend, have been on it several times. The Miracle is the same ship just differant decor.My personal cruise planner said they changed ships so the people in N.Y. would have a differant ship.
