July 4th Activities

Planning a July 1, 07 cruise. Does Carnival plan any special activities for this day i.e., fireworks, BBQ?

i am crusing on the ecstacy on july 1st thru the 7th and i was also wondering about the 4th!!

I talked to a carnival rep about any special activities for the 4th of July and he said each year it varies on what they do. He said there would be sparklers and a limited amount of fireworks and other festivities planned but did not know of any particulars. If anyone else has ever sailed during July 4th could you share your info? Thanks.
