The Wind offers an 11 day cruise from Ensenada to Hawaii or from Hawaii to Ensenada. You have to fly one direction.

I'm 45 and still not old enough (or calm enough LOL) for Alaska. We just booked the Holiday out of Mobile March 17-22. its one of those Spring Break weeks and could be a lot of fun. Bring it on!!!

The Holiday only holds 1500 people so it can't be as bad as Thanksgiving. I'll also bet the scenery during spring break would be right up your alley too!

The Jones Act forbids point to point travel witin the USA on foreign flagged ships. All of Carnival's ships are registered in Panama or the Bahamas. That is why they have to leave from Canada or Mexico.

The cruise lines that do offer USA departures to Hawaii are most likely registered in the US

Princess and Holland America get around that by making a "service call" in Ensenada. Princess ships are registered in the Bahamas and Holland America ships in The Netherlands.
