Sign & Sail for minors

I know that we can give our children permission to charge items on our credit card that we put down on our sail & sign cards, but this is what I would like to do if possible ---

I'd like to have my children put some of their own money (maybe $100) on their own sail & sign cards so that they can manage their own spending with their own money - if possible. Does any one know if we can do this?

Yes, you can do this. Cash can be put on each of the S&S cards at the pursers desk. I do this when I cruise with my daughter.

GREAT!! Thanks for your quick response. I think we will do that too with our kids. They are 8 and 13, but both are real good about managing their money - watching how much they spend; how much they have left etc. I think this will be a good learning experience for them to do this on vacation too.
