Galveston/Debarkation/Transportation

I posted this yesterday and got one response. Thanks! But for some reason it's not on there today. We booked our own airfare from Tampa to Houston & saved a ton of money. We're flying in the night before, and need a hotel in Houston and transportation to and from the cruise terminal. The main issue is we have a 1:25 return home flight. The ship docks at 8. How fast is debarkation? We need scheduled pick-up to get us back to the airport on time. It's a 1 and 1/2 hr drive. I'm thinking 10 AM is a reasonable debarkation target. Any input?

We finished booking last week.Our cordinator said we could not fly out before 1:30.We just used carnival transfers. $80 per person. There is a private one for $60pp.Galveston limosine service.But you have to go on ther schedule. I figured with carnival if there was a delay inbound they would know we are coming.

yes, you should easily be able to make a 1:25Pm flight. Ask for "early flight" disembarkation just to be safe. You should be off the ship by 8AM that way. I would book a private limo so you don't have to wait for Carnival's shuttles.

Its about 40 miles from Galveston to Houston Assuming you are on the Conquest, you will be traveling on a weekend Day... it should NOT take a private limo/shuttle 1 and a half hours to get to the airport...
