Glory in March

Any information on the Glory we might find helpful would be appreciated. Is it like the Liberty or Valor...Does it have fish and Chips or a big screen on the Lido? thanks for your help.

Hi Sue, The Glory is practically identical to the Liberty and Valor, with a few minor exceptions. The Valor had the Category 6E cabins converted to balconies during the last drydock. The Glory also doesn't have the Seaside Theatre (big screen on lido) yet.

It does have the Fish and Chips! I will add that is my favorite section of the lido restaurant to eat in regardless if I'm having fish and chips or not. It is so much nicer and quieter up there with great views. I actually love the fact most people don't know it's there. The fish and chips ain't bad either.

I forgot to mention that I just sailed on her last October. The ship was in great condition.

I cruised on the Glory back in November 2006. It was my favorite cruise (of the 5 cruises in my life).

Yes, make sure to check out the Fish N Chips place. It is upstairs above the Red Sail Cafeteria (one deck above the Lido deck). Also, on the same deck as the Fish N Chips, is the Emerald Room; It is the 5 star restaurant (Supper Club as Carnival calls it). I wanted to go to the Emerald Room for dinner one night, but never got the chance. That was my biggest regret during my cruise on the Glory.

I called carnival a few months ago, I heard from the agent they didn't "yet" have the big screen on the lido. She said they were adding one during a dry dock, but didn't know when the ship was scheduled for dry dock. When I called again a few weeks ago again to see when it was scheduled for dry dock the agent said she was built with one so i'm not sure. I hope they do because were going in May. Either way we'll have a great time! I'm sooo excited!

I am happy about the fish and chips, and I have to admit I am happy about the Big screen not being there. I hate that it is so loud that you can't take a nap or talk to your neighbor. We usually go to the rear of the ship to that pool..I guess we are old 57 and 60 .so it will be good either way I am excited this will be our 9th cruise with Carnival in 2 years ! so excited for number 10 to come!
