I am cruising on the Carnival Triumph on November 22 headed to Eastern Caribbean! While viewing the deck image diagram, I've noticed that some of the cabins have symbols - star, dot, X, triangle, etc. What do these symbols mean?

I am not looking at a diagram right now so not sure what they exactly mean, however there should be something near the diagram to explain their meaning.

One may mean it has upper and lower beds.
One may mean ubstructed view.
One may mean connecting rooms.
One could be the bed size, such as single, double, queen or king.
It could be a symbol for certain amenities.

I am not sure if you are looking at a diagram on a web site or in a brochure. The brochure for sure will have the explanation of the symbols and the web site should have them somewhere but may be harder to find.

Go to this website:
https://www.cruise411.com/search/OB_...D75B815F2F1%7D

Click on the name of the deck to display the deck image. You will see that some of the cabins have symbols. I just called cruise411.com and the following is a legend of the symbols:

single dot = triple cabin (for 3 people)
X = Q size bed
star = twin beds convertible to King & single convertible sofa
cross = twin beds with double convertible sofa
double dots = quad cabin (for 4 people)
triangle = twin bed & single convertible sofa
asterisk = twin beds cannot be converted to K
diamond = stateroom with 2 round windows
arrow (symbol between 2 cabins) = connecting cabins
