Hello: This is something that your travel agent should look into for you. Special promotions do frequently come up and your agent should be keeping an eye open to see if there are any that will affect your booking. Of course, you can always ask for an upgrade at the time you check in for your cruise.
Happy sailing. Bobby

as far as I have read and investigated if you booked a cat. 8 guarantee, there is a high probability that you will be upgraded further up, however, if you have a set cabin thats your cabin.

Dont expect when you get onboard to get an upgrade, NEVER HAPPENS, they always say the boat is full....

We booked a cat 8A balcony cabin on the Victory, and about 4 weeks prior to our sail date, our Travel Agent called to inform us that we had the opportunity to upgrade to a cat 11 suite, with no additional cost to us. So, I would definately keep in touch with your travel agent to see about the possibility of an upgrade. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice upgrade!

Hi Elsie,

you might want to take a look at this article for some very good information on upgrades.
