This question is for Dave and all the other big time cruisers. How many cruises have you been on? Are you all travel agents?

21 I think is the current number. But I've spent the last 15 years or so studying everything I can get my hands on about cruises, which allows me to pass myself off as a big time know-it-all here! Dang, my cover has been blown!

I have functioned as an agent in a Walter Mitty sort of way - my real agent lets me book my own stuff sometimes, and I've done some bookings for friends. My agent still gets the commission. How stupid can I be? But I am not a professional travel agent.

We do have many agents on this board, and on staff.

I've cruise 7 times in 10 years. I'm not nearly up to the expertise level of some on here who have cruised more than once a year. My children are already pretty spoiled on cruising though. Not a TA. We've always booked directly through the same Carnival Rep., who has always done great by us.

We'll be on our 19th in November, Lord willing. No where near SonnyV's record, but sure will be trying to match it. Not a TA, but sure wish I could get their rates

Just booked our 8th and every cruise is like the first. Just can't get over the excitement on wanting to go. In between watch every cruise ship show on the travel channel, and hang out in here. Not a TA; I book on line. Last two times though went through Carnival travel planner.

I wish every vacation I planned was as exciting as planning and booking a cruise!

I just finished 6 but then as my handle implies I cruise to visit my daughter, who is currently dancing on the Liberty. And no we don't get discounts, other nice perks when we get there however.
