Booked cruise through Sam's Club and thought I was getting a room that sleeps 4 but instead were given room that sleeps 3...since we're 3 passengers. Anyway, 3rd person has to sleep on this convertable sofa. Has anyone slept on one of these? The travel agent swears this is very comfortable. Would appreciate feedback before I cancel this trip. Thanks!

The convertibles are usually comfortable enough. If you have used one in someone's home it is pretty much the same experience aboard a ship.

been on several cruise swhere we had the convertable sofa sleeps just as well as in a bed nice and firm and comfortable, not at all like a home sleeper sofa with the springs that are uncomfortable, its just like a regular mattress

You need to get a higher quality home sleeper sofa! Actually, I have felt springs on occasion on the shipboard versions. A lot of it depends on the wear and tear of the ship.
