Cruise in December

Anyone been to the Eastern Caribbean in December. We are sailing out of Miami on the Carnival Valor, Dec 16th. Our ports are Nassau, St. Thomas, & St. Maarten! HELP! Do you think it will be to cold? What clothes should we bring? Thanks for your help!

I think you will be fine! The Caribbean has very constant temps and I don't think that cold should be a problem

Average High 79 average low 70 so bring what you think you need based on that and you should be just fine.

Thank You! I'm just really worried it will be cold & we won't have a good time. But i guess it will be what we make it! It could be worse, we could be at work. haha

i went on the eastern carribean last dec. and at night it was a bit chilly. and sometimes during the day too. a light sweater was enough to be comfortable in though. sadly for me i didnt know to bring a sweater at the time so i stayed inside mostly.

we went two years ago to the bahamas stopped at nassau no problem weather was really nice sweater at night but durning the day it was really nice

Last year we went in November, it was mid 80s during the day and upper 70s at night. Year before we went in December, mid 80s during the day lower 70s at night. I freeze if it drops below 80, so for me to say the weather was wonderful, it has to be warm. You'll be fine and the water is still in the lower to mid 80s. I wear a wet suit because I'm a wimp, but it is fine without it. I always bring a sweater because I freeze on board ship. I used to bring a light rain jacket, but I found some ponchos at WalMart for $.84. They fold up to 2x6x1/2" and weigh about 3 ozs. They were in the sporting goods section. They take up much less space and, hopefully, you wont need them. Enjoy your cruise!!

Thank You for all the good tips! You must be a wimp, b/c 80 is really warm for me. I was in the Ocean this past weekend in Maryland and the water was about 65 and I loved it! Thanks Guys!
